Who is Johan?

In 1980, Johan bought his first dog, a bearded collie, a breed he has lived with ever since. The first litter was born in 1987, producing the first of more than 100 champions bred at the Alistair's kennel. In 2001, the kennel was awarded the prestigious Hamilton Plaque. For many years, Alistair's has been the most successful breeder of Bearded Collies in Sweden. For the past 15 years, the family has also had Scottish Terriers.

Johan became a judge in 2002 and has since become an FCI all-around judge. He has had the great privilege of judging in several European countries as well as in the United States, Israel and Canada. Johan has had the honour of judging bearded collies in their homeland of England.

Johan is active in the club, having been treasurer and judge coordinator in the county club and chairman of the Special Club for Bearded Collies. For several years now, he has been a member of the SKK's judging committee.
