Who is Mikael?

Mikael has been breeding poodles of all sizes since 1993 under the kennel name Kudos. He has exhibited dogs with many top results, such as BIS at Crufts and WDS with the white standard poodle Ch Topscore Contradiction. Mikael has owned, exhibited or bred the dog of the year in all breeds eight times in different countries.

In addition to his successes in the poodle ring, he has also co-owned many top-winning Afghan hounds. Not to be forgotten are Mikael's co-owned Pomeranians, which have won groups and BIS at all breed shows. Ch Belliver Unexpected Dream won the toy dog group at Crufts, among other things.

Mikael was authorised as a judge in 2004 and is now one of our newest Swedish all-rounders. He had the honour of judging toy poodles at the American Poodle Club's national show as the first non-American judge in 50 years and the youngest judge ever. Mikael lives and breathes dogs and has worked with them for many years, both as a professional dog groomer and now as a handling and grooming instructor at Mikael Nilsson Showdogs. He also has a very popular podcast called Vinn mer (Win More).
