Tino has had a great love for animals, especially dogs, his entire life. His parents had a German Shepherd, and as soon as Tino could walk, he was hands-on with the family dogs. There have always been dogs in the home, and they have bred and/or owned Posavski Gonic, Labrador Retrievers, Lhasa Apsos, Griffons and Bretons. Nowadays, Tino breeds short-haired dachshunds. There are also quite a few birds at home, such as pigeons and chickens.
Tino became a judge in 1999 and in 2011 he was appointed FCI all breed judge by the Croatian Kennel Club. He judged for the first time in Sweden in 2005 and has since been a very frequently hired judge here and in other Nordic countries, so much so that with his good ear for languages he understands Swedish very well. Tino helps organise some shows in Croatia and therefore has a great understanding of all the work involved in arranging a large show.
For ÖKK, Tino is like family, a dear friend whom we enjoy having with us.
